With the Freddie and Fannie mess, how can it simply be the Republican's fault.?

This whole thing had its beginnings back in the days of Clinton. When the Democrats had to play nice by forcing the banks to make home loans to people who had bad credit and normally would never get a home loan. Now we all have to suffer for this.
