Why isn't God answering my prayers?

For the last 3 years I've been praying to God for a nice break in my struggle to sell copies of my book. I believe that God answers all prayers and don't believe in that common line: 'he didn't answer your request because he was looking out for you' because then that conflicts with his given gift of free-will. If he's not answering it just yet than I can only draw three possible conclusions. 1 He wants me to become so far downhearted that I'll lose the will to live, come home, regroup and reincarnate to a world where my book would be a chartbuster. 2 He rather us astral project our souls to his realm and find the answers then just sitting here in the earth realm waiting for Him to do a bunch of miracles. Unfortuently, I was bought up in a religion that frowns upon that stuff since it's not offically proven and may be demonic in nature. 3 He doesn't exists like we believe and that we are gods ourselves who create our worlds.
