Why do Theists grieve?

If you know God and truly believe in the eternal bliss to come what's with the sad faces at funerals, I mean I get that your going to miss someone for nth period till you get there but we don't all dress up in black ,waving weeds and howling when someone goes to live abroad. Are you really sure you believe?
