Taking into consideration it is a rough draft and therefore ignoring any punctuation errors and the like, I thought it was very fresh and mentally stimulating. He paints a very detailed picture with his prose and does so energetically, never letting it devolve into a mere laundry list of descriptive terms. I found the reading level to be refreshing as well. I am sick of wanna-be authors who can't seem to use a word larger than two syllables. I would give it a solid 8, perhaps even a 9.
