I am starting to get very annoyed with hanging out with my friends?

I am 16. So, I have a few very close friends but... whenever they want to do something, it just repulses me... does that make sense? I think going to see a movie is a waste of time, money, probably not that good. I rather stay home and have a nice time with my parents. Is that pathetic of me? I just don't like going out after 8 to see crappy horror movies I never took interest in or go to other places. What can I say when I don't want to do something? I feel like I am being rude if I say no, I can't or I don't want to because they are my closest friends.
